Strawberry Basil Mom-osa (mimosa)

2 strawberries
2 basil leaves
1 oz orange juice
3 oz champagne
Strawberry slice, for garnish
Basil leaves, for garnish


  1. Muddle strawberries and 2 basil leaves in cocktail shaker. Let stand 2 minutes (or more) for flavors to blend.
  2. Add ice and orange juice, then shake well; strain into a champagne flute.
  3. Top with champagne. Garnish with a strawberry slice and basil leaf.

Other Preparation Methods

For a little more kick.
Substitute orange liqueur for the orange juice for more flavor and a little more kick.

Make a raspberry mint mimosa.
Substitute 4 raspberries for the strawberries and mint for the basil for another fruity mimosa.
